Czechia 2025: ADONXS releases 'Kiss Kiss Goodbye'
07 March 2025 at 16:55 CETOn Friday 7 March, the singer ADONXS premiered the music video of Czechia's song for Basel over on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
The visually engaging clip reveals an intimate side to the artist, reflecting on deep childhood experiences and their influence on his current life.
Adam Pavlovčin aka ADONXS is looking forward to showcasing this story to his own fans and his new audience:
“We wanted to bring an unexpected aesthetic, but above all, to present a strong story with unexpected twists and reveal something real and honest from my own heart – something fragile, which is real, but still hurts a little.”

The video serves as a metaphor for human failure, emotional pain, and the struggle with one’s own imperfections. The song itself explores romantic relationships and recurring behavioral patterns, where ADONXS’ longing for unconditional love clashes with the lasting impact of an absent father in early childhood.
The artist continues:
“It’s the story of a flawed, wounded hero who, at a crucial moment, is willing to sacrifice a great leap for humanity in the hope of healing a painful wound in his heart. It’s about how love drives and shapes us—but so does its absence.”
The singer collaborated on the video for the song Kiss Kiss Goodbye with director Jiří Horenský, Slovak production company Reset Production and Czech studio See Ya Creative.
Czechia will perform in the Second Half of the Second Semi-Final on Thursday 15 May.
