CyBC decided already last December the singer, who would win the talent contest Performance, would follow Jon Lilygreen and The Islanders to represent them at Europe's favourite TV-show in Germany.
So, now the broadcaster has set the date for the contest making the winner of it one of the first artists to have been picked for next year's show. Namely, the final of Performance will be held on the 10th of September.

This year Cyprus qualified for the Final in Oslo and finished 21st in it with Jon Lilygreen & The Islanders' song Life Looks Better In Spring. It was the first time since 2005 when a Cypriot representative qualified.
