Croatia: Feminnem calls for Eurovision again!

Tonights show was held at the Crystal Hall of the Kvarner hotel in the seaside resort of Opatija. The hosts of the show were Duško Čurlić, Mirko Fodor and Mila Horvat. Reports from backstage were provided by Ida Prester and Iva Šulentić. The show was streamed live right here on Eurovision.tv.

The songs in order of presentation were as follows :-

The interval act featured the 1994 Croatian representative Tony Cetinski performing a selection of his greatest hits. Tonights voting procedure was split between jury votes and public televoting.

Feminnem topped both the jury vote and public televoting, therefore scoring a unanimous victory.

Croatia has been participating in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1993, their best result to date has been 4th place. This was achieved on two occasions, firstly by Maja Blagdan in Oslo in 1996 with Sveta Ljubav, and again in Jerusalem in 1999 with Doris Dragovic and Marija Magdalena.

Croatia also won the first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003.

Croatia will participate in the second part of the Second Semi Final of Europe's Favourite TV show on Thursday 27th May.
