In today's rehearsal, Conchita Wurst performed in an elegant long black dress, which is not her stage outfit for the Semi-Final though. She was alone on stage, without any backing artists. Standing on a pedestal on a smoke-covered floor, she sang Rise Like A Phoenix confidently, showing her strong voice.

In the beginning, the stage was dark, and only after the first verse, spotlights were on Conchita. The LED screens were displaying flames on a black background which looked like wings of fire, fitting the lyrics of the song. A wind machine was also used.
Cosy and well organised backstage
"It's all so cosy and well organised here, I don't even want to go back to the hotel - I want to sleep here", Conchita said when she left her dressing room, preparing for the soundcheck. "I have been preparing intensively for these two weeks in Copenhagen. Two people are taking care of my looks here", she explained.

The dress that Conchita Wurst will wear on the Semi-Final night will remain a secret until Saturday, the day of the second Austrian rehearsal. "We will present it on that very day, so don't miss it", the head of press of the delegation, Roman Horacek, stated.
