Conchita Wurst, who won the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, exactly one year ago, is one of the first artists rehearsing her performance for the upcoming shows in Vienna in Wiener Stadthalle. In an interview for ORF, Conchita used three words to describe what happened in Copenhagen last year "excitement, happiness, passion". She also announced the release of her new album in May.

“I would say passion, that word describes it best as I’m living my dream. All I’m going through is connected to a lot of passion,“ Conchita said. "And I feel fantastic.“

New songs in May

Between the rehearsals in the Wiener Stadthalle, last year’s Eurovision Song Contest winner revealed her plans for the upcoming months. "I will continue doing what I like to do. Things I think are fun,“ the 26-year-old performer from Austria added.

"I was busy writing new music, but let’s say in the backstage, not performing it in public,“ she explained and confirmed that her new album is coming out in May.

In the following months, Conchita Wurst will be sold out again, dealing with different roles. However, none of those tasks cannot surprise the winner of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. "When I’m standing in front of all those lawmakers in the European Parliament, then I’m a speaker, when I’m singing, I’m a singer. If I’m on the catwalk, then I’m being a model. That can all happen in one week or even on the same day,“ she explained not really having any understanding for people who would rather label her as just the Eurovision winner.

World tour also on agenda

As soon as the new album is published, Conchita Wurst will start promoting her new songs, but this time not only in Europe. America, Asia and Australia are the places she wants to visit this time. When and where the fans will be able to see and hear her perform is going to be announced very soon.
