28 October 2008 at 11:07 CET

Two-time Maltese representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, Chiara, takes part in the Maltese national selection once again. She already finished at a third place in 1998 with The One That I Love and second in 2005 with Angel. Her next bid is called What If We, and was written by Belgian song writing team Marc Paelinck and Gregory Bilsen.

Ludwig Galea, who performed On Again... Off Again together with Julie at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, is back with the song Inferno.

Several artists who have taken part in the national selection before also want to give it another try. Among them are Triology (2006, 2007), Claudia Faniello (2008), Natasha & Charlene (1999, 2003 - 2006) and J. Anvil (2005, 2006).

Surprise, surprise... the legendary German composer Ralph Siegel is back with three songs: Innocent Heart, Tonight At The Opera and Blame It On Your Heart. He has taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest numerous times, and wrote Germany's only winning song, Nicole's Ein Bisschen Frieden.

The team responsible for several Maltese Eurovision Song Contest entries, Gerard J. Borg and Philip Vella are back. They were responsible for previous Maltese entries 7th Wonder (2002), On Again... Off Again (2004), Vertigo (2007) and also the 2008 entry Vodka.
