Celine Dion 'wishes luck' for Eurovision

The world-famous singer, who represented Switzerland and gave them the 1988 trophy, told: "Good luck with Eurovision [Song Contest], guys... I know what this contest means to you, and I wish you the very  best!" when she endorsed one of the participants of this year's Swiss national selection, the band Romanz.

The band is from South Africa and is aspiring to be the entry of Switzerland for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.

Celine Dion is one of the legendary winners of Europe's favourite TV-show and one of the artists that became world-famous after taking part in the contest. By now she's one of the most popular female vocalist of all times.
