Celine Dion admits: "I have smoked weed!"

"I did it only once, but it was in Holland, where it's legal," the Canadian singer excused herself. "A couple of friends and I went to a café in down town Amsterdam and... well... there we tried!"

On the question what happened afterwards, she said: "Nothing! But I didn't choke either. It was very funny to do, but it felt a little bit like cheating."

Taking Chances world tour

On the 11th of April, Céline will perform on the Chinese mainland for the first time. Her concert at the 50,000-seat Shanghai Stadium is expected to sell out completely. The Shanghai concert is part of the artist's Taking Chances world tour. She is also one of the best known Western pop singers in China. In 1999, she held a sold-out concert at the old Kai Tak airport runway in Hong Kong.

Best selling

Virtually unknown in Europe, Céline Dion won the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, representing Switzerland with Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi. One year later, she opened the 1989 contest with her hit Where Does My Heart Beat Now. Meanwhile, she has been declared best selling female artist in the world by her record company Sony BMG, she has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide, making her one of the most successful Eurovision Song Contest participants ever.
