A Friend In London, or AFIL as they like to shorten their band name, have a lot of projects in mind. Their debut album is set to be released later this year, and while they do so they've already released their new single Calling A Friend worldwide.

This new song is dedicated to all of their fans and they invite them to the release of their new video at Field's in Copenhagen next Sunday 25th of September at 15:00. At this event, AFIL will receive a gold record for the sales of their Eurovision entry New Tomorrow, along with a meet and greet session with the band.

Tim and Thomas

AFIL's lead singer Tim Schou is now performing every Friday evening on DR, the Danish broadcaster, along with Thomas Meilstrup (13) in the show Skjulte Stjerner (Hidden Stars). Thomas himself has a Eurovision connection as he is the son of Gry Johansen who represented Denmark back in 1983 with Kloden Drejer.

Skjulte Stjerner is hosted by Felix Smith, who hosted the Danish Melodi Grand Prix for the last three years, but has just stepped out of his duties as presenter for 2012.

At the video launch on Sunday, A Friend In London will also be doing a small performance with a special feature by Thomas Meilstrup.

A Friend In Bochum

After a summer full of performances around Denmark, the band announce a performance in Bochum, Germany, this Saturday 24th of September at 20:00 at Zeche, a concert for which you can still get your tickets. Coincidentally, the following day it will be Jedward, the Irish performers in Düsseldorf, performing at the same venue.
