Poli Genova rose to fame as member of the group BonBon, which would later represent Bulgaria at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

One Lifetime Is Not Enough, which reached the Bulgarian national final through a wildcard, is composed by Ivan Kutikov. The Bulgarian producer, who lives and works in the United States and received a Golden Record award for his previous work, owns a big record company in Hollywood. It was through him that Kevin 'Khao' Cates, who produced several hits for Beyoncé, heard the song and was impressed.

When Cates played the song to Beyoncé, she could not hold back her tears, according to Bulgarian news portal News.bg.

The Bulgarian national final takes place on the 21st of February. 21 songs will compete, 18 of them qualified through a series of semi-finals. The songs can all be heard at the official Bulgarian Eurovision site.
