Bulgaria: twelve songs proceed to the final

The finalists were chosen both by the jury and SMS-voting. The winner of the SMS-vote and the number one ranked by the jury went straight to the final. The other ten finalists were decided on a 50/50 basis.

The order of appearance in which the songs were performed tonight (qualifiers in bold, ranking in brackets):

  7. Love Goes Around - Tsvetelin Atasanov-Elvisa feat. DZ (7th)
  8. Putyat (The Road) - Steliyana Hristova (5th)
  9. Novo Nebe (New Sky) - Viktoriya Dimitrova
  10. Without You - Teni Omede
  11. Dream - Alex & 4Give
  12. Still Love You - Todor Gadzhalov (6th)
  13. Love Is Alive - Desislava (Dess) (1st)
  14. This Is My Green Wave - Georgi Vurbanov
  15. Love Unlimited - Sofi Marinova (2nd)
  16. Dream - Group "Better Than Grey"
  17. Keep Me Down - Svetozar Hristov (8th)
  18. Alone - Rene Ranev (equal 11th)
  19. You Are The World - Group "Bee In The Bonnet"
  20. Eternal - Simona Sivanio (9th)

Topping the "Akademia"-jury results and the SMS votes was Desislava (Dess), that's why the second ranked in the televote, Sofi Marinova, went also straight to the final. The DJ Deep Zone appeared as a backing performer for the group New 5 which came 3rd.

The show was presented by Milenita and Alexander Sano with the backstage collaboration of Dragomir Draganov and the interval act consisted of the "Diva" Ballet Group, the Quartet "Strings" and the Pop Group "Gravity Co.".

The final will now take place on Wednesday the 29th of February when all 12 songs will be perform again and the winner will be chosen. Bulgaria peaked at #5 in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest with Water performed by Elitsa Todorova & Stoyan Yankulov.
