Again, five songs were performed before the viewers and a jury. This time Plamen Penev, Zheni Karavateva, Bobi Kokera,Bleki & Sunnie, Emilia Valentin and Hari Ot Balgaria were in the race.
After a round of televoting and the judges giving their opinion, three songs passed on to the next phase:
- Emilia Valenti with S Teb - 32,94% of televotes, also the choice of the jury
- Bobi Kokera, Bleki and Sunnie with Tozi Pat - 23,91%
- Plamen Penev with Dalechen Svyat - 20,99%
Two songs did not qualify, being Hari Ot Balgaria's Bez Dumi (11,66%) and Zheni Karavacheva's Dumi (10,5%).
After three quarter-finals, their respective winners will compete for a semi-final ticket.
