Boaz (Israel) to Amsterdam this Sunday

08 April 2008 at 20:02 CEST

The Israeli singer Boaz will perform to the Jewish community and is eager to catch up with Eurovision Song Contest fans in the Netherlands
The singer, who is working hard with his team of performers on his Eurovision Song Contest performance, got a special request that he couldn’t refuse – to help the Jewish community raise money for the less fortunate ones.

After a call from Keren Hayesod, Boaz consulted his managers and decided that he would fly to Amsterdam for a special concert in Hotel Arena on the 13th of April. The singer is also negotiating with one of the commercial television stations to perform in a show.

To Eurovision.tv, Boaz Mauda said: "It is a great honor to help the Jewish community around the world. I hope to meet a lot of Eurovision Song Contest fans who would help me to get into the Euro-mode that I need, before going to the Contest in Belgrade. I'm getting a lot of emails from Amsterdam and I hope to meet up with those people who write me. Are there any good parties over there?"
