On Sunday 26 February, Poland got to select its entry to the 67th Eurovision Song Contest. The artist Blanka will have the honour of heading to Liverpool, with the song 'Solo'.

Sunday evening saw Polish broadcaster TVP host Tu Bije Serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję! - a 2-hour show of live music and entertainment, the mission of which was to find Poland its Eurovision Song Contest entry for 2023.

The show has a winner, and Poland has its song - Blanka will represent the country in Liverpool, with the catchy tune Solo.

Voting on the evening was done via both a public vote and an expert jury, with each of them contributing 50% of the scores. In the end, Blanca won, achieving the top combined score.

Half-Polish, half-Bulgarian, Blanka knew that she wanted to connect her life with music from when she was a teenager. She loves to perform plenty of complicated choreography on the stage, but she can also be found standing behind the decks, being a skilled DJ, too. The song Solo talks about a love which turned out to be something other than what it at first seemed.

Poland will perform in the Second Half of the Second Semi-Final at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
