Blanka is representing Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with her song ‘Solo,’ and she’s getting down didi down down down in Liverpool.

There’ll be no missing out on Blanka at Eurovision 2023. In February, she smashed through Poland’s national selection competition, Tu Bije Serce Europy! Wybieramy Hit Na Eurowizję! with 12 points from the jury and 10 points from the televote, to land in first place. Now it’s all eyes on Blanka.

Blanka said she was going to show us, and she did. When her turn came for her first rehearsal on Tuesday 2 May, she hit the stage wearing not one, but two outfits. That's right - we've got ourselves a good old costume reveal. The half-Polish, half-Bulgarian star turned out a poptastic performance with her dancers and a slick, multi-scene set up.

The official Eurovision Live Blog was on site for Blanka’s first rehearsal, and every memorable moment was captured: "After three performances with no backing singers/dancers, Blanka is NOT Solo. She's has four backing dancers, and this song is a huge summer MOOD from start to finish. Blanka sounds great and is totally owning that stage against a backdrop of tropical graphics."

As well as being a singer and dancer, Blanka also loves to DJ. The song that always gets her on the dancefloor is Beyoncé’s Crazy In Love, so if Blanka is found on the DJ decks at any parties around, you can bet that song will feature.

Blanka’s playlist of top tunes is packed with smooth R&B and pop inspired songs. She loves classics like Survivor by Destiny’s Child and George Michael’s Too Funky, as well as recent hits like The Weeknd and Ariana Grande’s Die For You. Blanka is clearly inspired by the rhythm of song, an element which had made it into her Eurovision entry, Solo, in a big way!
