RTBF's radio channels officially confirmed the selection of Patrick Ouchène for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow this morning. The singer gave a first reaction on RTBF's radio news broadcasts this morning, according to the Belgian fan site Belgovision.com.

"Many people will think it's kitsch and ridiculous, but I think that this is a big opportunity to give media exposure to the music style I'm bringing," the 43 year-old French rockabilly singer said. "I'll have two missions: represent Belgium and defend this music style."
