Belarus: Who will compete in the national final?

Today the 15 entries to take part in the Belarusian national final have been announced after two days of castings:

  9. Beatrys
  10. Napoli

  13. Rostany
  14. Anastasia Malashkevich
  15. Vital' Varanko

The announcement took place in the TV programme Panorama as well as on the official site of BTRC.


Among the jurors were well-known names of pop and show business: Alexander Tikhanovich (singer), Vasili Rainchik (singer and musician), Elena Treshchinskaya (editor of radio Radius FM), Eugen Popkovich,(producer of Belarus 1 channel), Olga Ryzhkova (chief editor of Belarus 1 channel), Andrej Holodinski (musical editor of Radio-Roks), Marianna Drabovich (head of the Department of Arts, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus).

Alexander Rybak, the winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, is also on the list of composers. For the last weeks Alexander has been scouting for the talented artists through the country. As a result a band Milki was formed. Milki will perform his song Accent. The group consists of five female singers: Tatsiana Stakhouskaya, Marina Putnikova, Taya Serikova, Victoria Nazarko and Anna Rai.

The running order for the national selection will be announced on the 7th of December.
