Belarus is looking for their hero for Copenhagen

Gennady Davydko, the chairman of the Belarusian broadcaster BTRC, announced that 15 contestants will take part in the national selection that is planned for the beginning of January. The winner will be chosen according to the joint decision of a professional jury and the televoting public. Davydko promised an exciting and spectacular show.
During the meeting, Olga Shlager has been chosen as the manager and director responsible for the Belarusian national selection. In her interview on the official site of BTRC she asked all musicians who are eager to send in their application forms for some patience as some details about this procedure are still under discussion and will be cleared up till the end of this week. The deadline for applications is set on the 24th of November.
Boris Svetlov, the minister for education shared his expectations about Belarusian national selection: "The vocal level should be very high!", but he is also awaiting a great show with some dance elements.
Last year, Alyona Lanskaya, sang for Belarus her song Solayoh. She came 16th in the Grand Final in Malmö.
