Belarus: BTRC announces 15 hopefuls

"More than 90 singers came through the first round. After three full days of casting by a professional jury, BTRC can announce fifteen contestants for its national selection," producer Anastasiya Tihanovich of BTRC said. One of the following acts will represent Belarus in Moscow:

  4. Petr Elfimov
  5. Gunesh
  6. Venera
  7. Kola (band)
  8. Dakota
  9. Singerin
  10. Dyadya Vanya
  11. Litesound feat. Dakota
  12. Alexey Crechet
  13. Domenika
  14. Wind In The Head (band)
  15. Victoria Belova

During a semi-final on the 15th of December, a jury will pick five contestants for the Final of EuroFest. Through televoting, the public will be able to pick Belarus' contestant for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest during a national selection in mid-January.
