Tonight, the pre-Christmassy atmosphere in Belarus has been accompanied by a big musical TV-event, the EuroFest 2012 Semi-Final. Out of 118 singers, only the best 15 managed to reach tonight’s show and had the possibility to present their artistic and musical skills.
Interesting entries and different musical genres heated up the vibe and made the show really entertaining. Among the special guests was Lida Zablotskaya who participated in the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She had the honour to open the national Semi-Final with her song Angely Dobra.
After all participants performed their songs, the TV viewers and the professional jury selected five best acts and gave them tickets for the Final that will be held on the 14th of February.
Here is the running order of competing acts in tonight’s show (qualifiers in bold):

15. Thriller - Message To The World
13 singers performed in English and only Aleksandra Gaiduk with Nataliya Baldina and the band Nuteki sang in Russian. Yan Zhenchak changed the song he was supposed to sing. Thus instead of A Point Of No Return, he performed a rock song We Are The Candles.
The national Final will take place on February 14th. During the show, the best entry will be selected by a combination of televoting and an expert jury. This lucky one will present Belarus in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku.
