Before we meet our 26 Grand Finalists on stage at Liverpool Arena on Saturday night, how about we get acquainted with them (ooh aah) a little bit more?

When our participating artists descend onto the host city here at the Eurovision Song Contest, we don't just want to see what they're capable of on stage; we want to get to know the people beyond the performances and the souls behind the songs.

For the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, we launched a brand-new series on our YouTube channel, called Be My Guest. And if you're hearing the exhilarating tones of Gaitana in your head right now, then we salute you.

Be My Guest sees our Class of '23 interviewed by one of the two fabulous hosts who took on presenting duties for us - Rylan and Clara Amfo. The dynamic duo interviewed each act, put forward some questions posed by fans on the Eurovision Song Contest social-media channels, and they also challenged the artists to take part in a unique game - each one specially tailored towards each individual performer.

For example, who emerged triumphant when Croatia's Let 3 played Connect 4? And what treasures were unearthed when Moldova's Pasha Parfeni was presented with a game of Pasha Parcel?! Rylan had the joys of getting to discover both.

Clara Amfo also got to see Andrew Lambrou from Cyprus test out a potential new direction in his professional life, as he becomes Agony Aunt Andrew - solving the problems of some not-so-anonymous names! Poland's Blanka, meanwhile, got to fill in the gaps during a spot of Blanka-ty Blank

In the name of art, Sweden's Loreen puts her colouring-in skills to the test, by giving Rylan his very own tattoo. The last we heard, it hadn't yet washed off. And just how close are Austria's Teya & Salena? We find out by giving them the pair ultra friendship test. We definitely did not get Edgar Allan Poe to ghost-write these questions. We would never.

You can watch all episodes of Be My Guest on our YouTube channel, and you can find them all together in a nice and handy playlist, too.

You can listen to all 37 songs of Eurovision 2024 via your favourite streaming service or watch the music videos on our YouTube channel.

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday 7 May (First Semi-Final), Thursday 9 May (Second Semi-Final) and Saturday 11 May (Grand Final) 2024.
