Barei to represent Spain in Stockholm!

Tonight it was time for the Spanish broadcaster, TVE, to select the entry that will represent Spain at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
The final of Objetivo Eurovisión 2016 featured six young artists competing, and Barei turned out to be the winner, and will sing Say Yay! in Stockholm!

The national final of Spain for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Objetivo Eurovisión, just took place at the Adisar Studios in Madrid hosted by Anne Igartiburu. The six candidates performed in the following starting position:

  1. Maverick - Un mundo más feliz (6th - 66 points)
  2. Barei - Say Yay! (Winner - 114 points)
  3. Xuso Jones - Victorious (2nd - 94 points)
  4. Salvador Beltran - Días de alegría (3rd - 72 points)
  5. Maria Isabel - La vida sólo es una (4th - 68 points)
  6. Electric Nana - Now (5th - 66 points)

About the voting

The winner was decided by a combination of televoting (40%) artists jury (30%) and international jury (30%).

Composed by TV, radio and music professionals selected by other participating Eurovision broadcasters: Sweden, United Kingdom, France and Italy. This was their verdict:
