Last week, the broadcaster ITV announced their decision about the intern choice of the Azerbaijani representative in Vienna. The selection process has already started. All musically talented persons are welcome to send in their applications till the 6th of March to [email protected] - so, hurry up!

Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest
Azerbaijan debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008. In this year, Elnur and Samir represented their country with the song Day After Day for the first time in the Azerbaijani Eurovision history.
In 2009 Azerbaijan came third in the Grand Final with the song Always, performed by duo AySel & Arash. In 2010, Safura represented her country with Drip Drop. She finished fifth in the Grand Final. And finally, in 2011 Ell & Nikki got the Eurovision trophy with their entry Running Scared. Next two years (2012, 2013), Azerbaijan was again in the top ten, with Sabina Babayeva and Farid Mammadov, respectively.
Last year, Dilara Kazimova sang Atart A Fire on stage in Copenhagen. She came 22nd.
