Australia's Voyager record Te Deum for EBU
05 June 2023 at 18:00 CESTAs if a Top 10 finish in Liverpool wasn’t enough of a fantastic legacy, Australia’s 2023 participants Voyager have written a little piece of history with this fantastic version of the song synonymous with the Eurovision Song Contest since it began in the 1950s.
Frontman Danny had this to say:
‘For Voyager, creating the new YouTube premiere countdown music for the EBU is an absolute compositional highlight. To be able to forge the original Te Deum theme with some beautiful ambient sounds, ‘80s synths, soaring Floyd-esque guitars and a ramping of suspense was very special. It's a nod to ESCs past, present and future and it elicits that warm feeling of anticipation that we all know and love: "it's Eurovision time"!’

And, if you’d like more than an extra 2 minutes of Voyager, the band have announced more gigs for their 2023 tour with new dates in Glasgow and Liverpool, and London and Manchester close to selling out:
Oct 20: Manchester Club Academy
Oct 21: London The Dome
Oct 22: London The Dome
Oct 24: Glasgow Slay
Oct 25: Liverpool O2 Academy2
