Anna Rossinelli - In Love For A While (Switzerland 2011) Unknown

Anna and her team have only had minor things to work with since the first rehearsal, and everything was very much the same as Sunday in terms of presentation. The whole group seemed very relaxed and were all smiles and seemed to enjoy themselves on the huge stage. Earlier Anna had a short chat with our interviewer backstage before her rehearsal.

"I worked a little on the stage performance, but nothing important. You might find some changes in the background. I like it when it's good, but I also like it when it's spontaneous," Anna says.

Looking for success

She explains that there is a thirst for a success in the Contest in Switzerland.

Of course the Swiss people are interested, but they are also a little bit sad, since we haven't got to the Final for like five years. I hope it's going to change this year!

Anna Rossinelli is hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous winners from Switzerland, Lys Assia and Celine Dion.

Bicycle trip and a chocolate factory

Since their first rehearsal on Sunday, the Swiss delegation had spent some time taking a bicycle trip in Düsseldorf, as well as shopping and a trip to a chocolate factory, and attended the Turkish party last night at the Euroclub, although they didn't stay too late with their rehearsal schedule today.

At the press conference Anna Rossenelli also talked about the fact that she normally performs barefoot, as she likes to feel the music. Although other singers in the past have sung and indeed won while performing barefoot, Anna will be wearing shoes on Tuesday 10th of May.

What preparations did she do before going on stage? "Breathe, breathe, breathe...although I'm a little nervous, but once on stage it's better."

Like many other artists they were asked about their hopes for the contest. "It's nice to be here and in a competition you want to win." Their first goal is to try and reach the Final, and after that it would be "cool to be in the top ten...or even win."
