Moldova in Eurovision
Moldova debuted in 2005, placing sixth with its first-ever entry, Bunica Bate Toba performed by Zdob și Zdub. Later, in 2010, they sent Sunstroke Project & Olia Tira with the song Run Away. This went viral a few years later, when Epic Sax Guy became an internet phenomenon (62 million YouTube views).
In 2017, Moldova invited back Sunstroke Project. The band took the country to the top three in the Grand Final for the first time ever with Hey Mamma and last year the country landed inside the top ten thanks to My Lucky Day by DoReDos.
