Albania: Festivali i Këngës to start tonight

Out of all the national finals for the Eurovision Song Contest, the Festivali i Këngës is one of those with the longest history, having been organised every year since 1962. In contrast to previous editions, all artists participating in this year's Festivali i Këngës will present their songs on the first evening, while on the second evening, the same entries will be performed as duets together with non-competing singers. On the final evening, all songs will be presented by the original artists again, and the winner will be decided by the combination of an expert jury and televoting.

The participating entries will be performed in the following running order tonight:

  8. Marjeta Billo - Era i Tokës
  9. Rovena Dilo & Eugent Bushpepa - S'jam Baladë
  10. Agim Poshka - Fajtor Për Ngrohjen Globale
  11. Julian Lekocaj - Nuk Je Ti
  12. Burn - Jam i Pari i Jetës Sime
  13. Erga Halilaj - Dikush Mungon
  14. Emi Bogdo - Kur Buzët Hënën e Kafshojnë
  15. Kujtim Prodani - Nostalgji
  16. Adelina Thaçi - Orët e Fundit
  17. Era Rusi - Shpirt i Humbur
  18. Vedat Ademi - Po Më Prite
  19. Besa Kokedhima - Ajër
  20. Soni Malaj - Zona Zero

The shows will be presented by Elsa Lila, who has already won the Festivali i Kënges twice, in 1996 and 1997. Furthermore, she participated in the 2007 Sanremo Festival. She will be joined by two well-known actors, Julian Deda and Gentian Zenelaj. The Festivali i Këngës will be broadcast via satellite on TVSH Sat, the Albanian public television, and on RTK, the public television of Kosovo, with all shows starting at 20:45.
