The 63rd edition of Festivali i Këngës has been happening in Albania, with three nights already having taken place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 19 - 21 December. Now, on Sunday 22 December, the prestigious music competition draws to its conclusion for another year; with Albania choosing its entry for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.
30 songs have taken part in Festivali i Këngës 63. On the first night of the event, viewers tuning in got to watch 15 of the songs performed, with the remaining 15 taking to the stage on night two. And on night three, all 30 acts returned to the stage, but this time to take part in the competition's 'nostalgia night' - a celebration of Festivali i Këngës and its rich history of music.
Now, after a jury vote across those first two nights, the lineup has been halved and Albania has its 15 finalists!
On the concluding night of Festivali i Këngës, the 15 finalists will each perform their song and voting will open. Voting will be down to a national jury and a public televote plus online vote. The winning song will represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.
The event will be coming to us live from the Palace of Congresses in Albania's capital city of Tirana. And we'll have three hosts taking us through the evening's performances and results: Enkel Demi, Ornela Bregu and Dalina Buzi.
