History was made last night when all four members of ABBA reunited and performed on stage for the first time since 1982. The four were celebrating at a private party in Stockholm when they took to the stage. Previously the group have been offered $1 billion to reform. The group who won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden are the most successful winners of all time and their music continues to live on, over 40 years after their victory.

Earlier this year the group reunited on stage for the first time in decades and in 2008 they were pictured together at the premier of Mamma Mia! Scriptwriter for the 2013 and 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Edward af Sillén wrote on Twitter that history was made last night. Previously Björn Ulvaeus ruled out a reunion and despite the short length of the performance, this development is likely to thrill ABBA and Eurovision Song Contest fans alike.
