ABBA and Måneskin nominated for Grammys
15 November 2022 at 20:00 CETABBA’s comeback single Don’t Shut Me Down is up for 'Record of the Year', while their 9th studio album Voyage is nominated for both 'Album of the Year' and 'Best Pop Vocal Album'… not bad for a group formed in 1972.
The Swedish band’s 50 years in the business does, however, mean they’re not up against fellow Eurovision champions Måneskin who find themselves nominated for 'Best New Artist'. Instead, ABBA received their 4th nomination this year in the 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' category, again for Don’t Shut Me Down.
In October this year, Eurovision 2022 participant Konstrakta revealed that she was being considered for a Grammy award in 2 categories: 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Global Music Performance' for In Corpore Sano, but sadly it was not to be this time.
The 65th annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday 5 February in Los Angeles, America.
