"A thousand lights to the moon" in the Moldovan postcard

02 April 2013 at 10:00 CEST

The filming of the Moldovan postcard turned out to become a both romantic and spectacular event in the heart of the capital city Chisinau: Under the slogan "A thousand lights to the moon", more than 500 fans of Aliona Moon turned up in a flash mob at night to launch sky lanterns together. The small hot air balloons were designed in the national colours of Moldova, red, yellow and blue. You can check out some impressions in our photo gallery:

On the same evening, Aliona Moon and Pasha Parfeny, who composed her song O Mie and who represented Moldova himself in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, gave a small concert for the audience. They were joined by Denis Midone, the Moldovan representative in the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Apart from that, we can already reveal that, in the Moldovan postcard, Aliona also prepares traditional food, rides a horse, and introduces the beautiful panoramic view at Orheiul Vechi to the European audience. However, you will get to know the edited version only during the First Semi-Final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, on May 14th. Meanwhile, you can watch a short news report about the filming of the Moldovan postcard on the TRM website.
