Jamala and ONUKA confirmed as interval acts for Eurovision 2017
20 April 2017 at 12:00 CESTONUKA is an electronic music band featuring Ukrainian folk music and motifs. The band was founded in 2013 and have released several albums and singles. The band are currently busy preparing a new musical arrangement for the their performance in the Grand Final. Lead singer of the band, Nata Zhyzhchenko (pictured) previously found fame as part of the group Tomato Jaws. You can find out more about ONUKA on their official website. Jamala, the winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, will perform her song Lured during the First Semi-Final on Tuesday 9th May as well as a revamp of her winning entry 1944, created especially for the show. During the Grand Final on Saturday 13th May she will premiere her brand new single I Believe in U.
Jamala recently completed the filming for the video of I Believe in U in Portugal. Filming took three days and took place in various locations including the capital Lisbon. Jamala will also give a concert in the Kyiv Sports Palace on Friday 12th May where she will perform songs from her latest album as well as her previous hits. Participants from The Voice of Ukraine will also join Jamala during the concert.
