16 acts for Slovenia's 2018 selection revealed!

16 acts are in the running to represent Slovenia in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. EMA 2018, the Slovenian national selection will take place in February and sees the return of several previous participants. Who will follow in Omar Naber's footsteps and represent Slovenia in Lisbon?

EMA 2018 will consist of two shows, one semi-final and a live show. Eight out of the 16 acts will proceed to the final, four selected by the public and four chosen by the professional jury. In the final the winner will be decided by a 50/50 split of jury and public votes.

Famous faces in 2018

The line up of EMA 2018 features a number of familiar faces including Tanja Ribič who represented Slovenia in the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest as well as ManuElla who participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016.

Omar Naber represented Slovenia for the second time in 2017 with the song On My Way.
