Last six finalists for Beovizija 2019 chosen in Serbia

Tonight, the second of two Beovizija semi-finals took place in Serbia. From the last 12 competing acts, six progressed to Sunday’s final. The six qualified finalists are:
During the voting window of the show, special guests Jelena Tomašević and Lea Sirk, joined up to perform Salvador Sobral's 2017 Eurovision winning entry Amar Pelos Dois before performing their own Eurovision songs. There were also appearances from Laka, Kaliopi and Balkanika before Emilija Kokić performed her Eurovision winning entry from 1989, Rock Me, with all of tonight's special guests.

Serbia will select the winner of Beovizija 2019 and their next Eurovision Song Contest entry on Sunday 3rd of May.

First six finalists for Beovizija 2019 selected in Serbia

Tonight, the first of two Beovizija semi-finals took place in Serbia. From the 12 competing acts, six progressed to Sunday’s final. The six qualified finalists are:
During the voting window, special guests Bojana StamenovJacques Houdek, Knez and Sanja Vučić combined to perform a special version of Loreen’s 2012 Eurovision Song Contest winning entry Euphoria. After performing their own Eurovision songs, they collaborated again to sing Serbia's 2007 Eurovision winner Molitva by Marija Šerifović.

The second semi-final takes place tomorrow night (Thursday 28th of February) where six more songs will qualify for the final of Beovizija 2019. Serbia will select its 2019 Eurovision Song Contest entry this Sunday 3rd of March.

One of these 24 songs will become Serbia's entry for Eurovision 2019

Serbian broadcaster RTS has published all entries for their national selection, Beovizija 2019. The songs will be performed in the first semi-final on the 27th of February, and during the second semi-final on the 28th of February. The qualifiers from the two shows will continue to battle for a ticket to Tel Aviv in the Beovizija final on the 3rd of March. Listen here to all the participating songs.
