Three more acts through to final of Iceland's national selection

Söngvakeppnin 2019, Iceland's national selection for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, held its second and last semi-final in Reykjavik today. Five artists performed in the second live show, from which the TV viewers chose their two favourites: Friðrik Ómar, one half of Euroband, who represented Iceland in 2008, and Tara Mobee. The contest’s selection commission reserved the right to give one of the eliminated songs a wildcard for the final on the 2nd of March, and they gave it to Kristina Skoubo Bærendsen. Iceland started their quest for Eurovision 2019 glory

Iceland's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Söngvakeppnin, kicked off today with the first semi-final, live from Háskólabíó in Reykjavik. The first live show featured five songs from which the TV viewers voted two songs through to the final: Hatari with Hatrið Mun Sigra and Hera Björk with Eitt Andartak. Kristina Skoubo Bærendsen, Þórdís Imsland and Daníel Óliver got eliminated. The contest’s selection commission reserves the right to give one of them a wildcard for the final on the 2nd of March. Ryan O'Shaughnessy & Niamh Kavanagh in Irish Junior Eurovision video

Ireland's Junior Eurovision 2018 participant Taylor Hynes is joined in his music video by Eurovision 2018 participant Ryan O'Shaughnessy and 1993 winner Niamh Kavanagh.
On 25 November, Taylor will compete against 19 other participants to win the title. Head to the Junior Eurovision website for more info.
