Voltaj
Being one of the most important pop-rock bands from Romania, Voltaj has constantly been on the charts, radio and on public events for more than 20 years. This year they won the Romanian national final with a song supporting children who have been left alone by their parents working abroad.During their long-lasting career, Voltaj's most famous songs have been Lumea E A Mea (The World Is Mine), Da Vina Pe Voltaj (Blame It On Voltaj) and 20.
The artists have played in lots of countries including Moldova, Austria, Italy, Spain and Ireland, usually more than hundred concerts per year. Voltaj have already received several awards like the Best Romanian Act in the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2005, among others.
Last year the band started a campaign delecapat.ro (alloveragain) supporting the children left alone by their parents who went to work outside the borders. They are now connected with other majors in child protection non-profit organisations like Unitedway and Habitat for Humanity.
