The Sammarinese entry appears likely to be the most multinational participant of this year's contest, with several countries involved in the project, showing the real image of Europe: different cultures, traditions and histories under the same flag for the smallest country taking part in the contest.
Serhat is a successful singer, producer and TV-host who chose to work in the show-business after completing his education in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Istanbul.
He entered the world of television with Riziko, the Turkish version of America’s legendary Jeopardy, where he was both the producer and the presenter.
Serhat’s international music career had huge success with the single Total Disguise, performed in a duet with Viktor Lazlo who presented the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest. His following single Chocolate Flavour became another popular hit, especially in Greece. In 2007 he collaborated with the Russian/Georgian star Tamara Gverdtsiteli. They performed together in concerts in Moscow, Belarus and Moldova.
19 years ago Serhat founded the National and International High Schools Music Contest and has been guiding and coaching talented young musicians. Since 2013 Serhat’s music career has been based in France and Germany. His latest single Je M’adore was Number 1 for five weeks in a row in the German DJ Charts.
