Natalia Gordienko
Natalia Gordienko was born on 11 December 1987 in Chisinau. She has been performing on the big stage since the age of 15.While still being a student at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts, Natalia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest held in Athens in 2006. The same year she won Slavianski Bazaar and became the most famous singer in the country. In 2007, she received the Grand Prix at the New Wave competition in Jurmala. She then represented her country at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles where she won the gold medal in the Voice Category. In addition, Natalia was awarded the title Honored Artist of the Republic of Moldova.
Natalia has recorded 3 solo albums and featured duets with well-known Moldovan, European and Russian artists such as Irakli Pirtskhalava, Mohombi and CRBL. Moreover, her videos were shot by famous Directors from Ukraine, Russia and Romania, which have more than a million views on YouTube. She eventually collaborated with one of the largest Romanian labels, Fly Records.
Natalia has experienced 2 large solo concerts on the largest concert venue in Moldova and is now actively touring around the world. She is also the host of the highest-rated TV show in Moldova and is a DJ. During the Moldovan national selection in February 2020, both the jury and the viewers unanimously chose Natalia Gordienko as representative of Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song Prison.
