Lúcia Moniz
Lúcia Moniz was born the 9th of September 1976 in Lisbon. She is a popular Portuguese singer and actress. She has released four music albums to date and has also acted in several films, including Love Actually.Lúcia studied music for 10 years, the last of which she spent in the USA. There she sang in a choir and participated in musicals. Later she studied percussion at the Lisbon Metropolitan School and it was at that point that she won the ticket to Oslo for the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest giving Portugal its best place to date.
Magnolia, 67, Leva-me P'ra Casa and Fio De Luz are the titles of the albums she has released up to 2011 and after breaking into the international scene in 2003's Love Actually she has appeared in many film and TV productions, most recently the English language film The Right Juice in 2013.
Her song O Meu Coração Não Tem Cor placed 6th is Oslo and it was written by the teacher and poet José Fanha with music by the Oporto-born popular musician Pedro Osorio, who also conducted the orchestra.
