As a countertenor with a distinctive voice that reaches soprano heights, JJ has already made a name for himself in the classical music world, thanks to his exceptional range and heartfelt performances.JJ, whose real name is Johannes Pietsch, was born in Vienna in 2001 and grew up in Dubai before returning to Vienna in 2016.
Music fans may recognise the singer from the ORF show Starmania, where he showcased his extraordinary voice and made it to the finals of the show in 2021.
Currently, the Austrian artist performs at the Vienna State Opera and has participated in numerous productions, including Die Zauberflöte, Von der Liebe Tod, Tschick, and many other classical masterpieces. Offstage, he continues to refine his craft by studying classical music at the renowned Music and Art Private University of Vienna (MUK).
