This year’s Azerbaijani representative, Elnur Huseynov, is not new in the Europe’s favourite TV show and the Eurovision family. In 2008, Elnur together with Samir represented Azerbaijan for the first ever time in the Eurovision Song Contest. This year, Elnur will sing his mystical contemporary ballad Hour Of The Wolf.Elnur Huseynov is an Azerbaijani singer, born in 1987. What are the three most interesting aspects about your entry?
Hour Of The Wolf is a mystical contemporary ballad. I’m already in love with my song. I will take the Eurovision stage for a second time this year. In 2008, as a part of Elnur & Samir duo with the song Day After Day we reached the eighth place in the Final. We’ve already have many ideas on hypnotising stage presentation, so you should expect something special at in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
Do you have a (lucky) routine before you go on stage?
Well, to be honest I don’t have any. It’s high time I adopt some 'lucky' routine before the Contest.
Why is the Eurovision Song Contest important for you?
It’s a great chance to present myself as a solo artist. I believe in my entry song as it has so many powerful messages. It is truly a song with great meaning of which the most important is ‘that every heart deserves a fight’ and we should never give up. We must fight for our happiness.
