Damir Kedžo
Damir Kedžo is a 32-year-old pop singer and one of the most recognizable faces within the Croatian music scene. Kedžo was born in Omišalj, on the island of Krk, and began his music career by participating in a music show 16 years ago. For the last few years, Kedžo's songs have been among the most-played in Croatia, and his singles are award-winning hits.He has also tried his hand at acting and won the Croatian Actor Award for his role in the famous musical, Crna Kuća. He captivated the audience with the song Sve u meni se budi, which won the title of the most-played song in Croatia. Ever since that time his songs have been one hit after another. His song Srce mi umire za njom won the Zagreb Festival, and Vidi se izdaleka and Poljubi me sad captured the air and the hearts of his audience.
He was the most listened-to male singer in 2019 in Croatia, for which he received the Best Male Performer Award according to official statistics. He was nominated for a Porin Award for Best Male Vocal Performance, the most important professional award in the country. Damir Kedžo has successfully performed abroad, winning the Grand Prix of the Slavyansk Bazaar Festival in Vitebsk, Belarus, and winning the New Wave Festival in Sochi, Russia.
