Constantinos
Constantinos Christoforou was born the 25th of April 1977. He is a Cypriot singer-songwriter. He has performed at the Eurovision Song Contest three times: in 1996 and 2005 as a solo singer and in 2002 as part of the boy-band One. At the moment of going to Eurovision in 1996, Constantinos was serving in the National Guard.Born and raised in Limassol, Cyprus, Constantinos debut album Oti M'afora was a commercial success in his native country in 1996, becoming the first domestic release by a Cypriot artist to be certified triple platinum. After Eurovision he began crossing over into the Greek market first as a backing vocalist for other artists. He gained wider fame as the lead singer of the popular group "One", the first boy band ever in the Hellenics. With them he represented Cyprus at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest.
Christoforou went solo in 2003 and released five studio albums since then. He represented Cyprus for the third time in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with Ela Ela (Come Baby) and attempted to represent his country again in 2010. Apart from his own music, Christoforou has written songs for other artists and also participated on several TV shows.
Both Andréas Giorgallis and Rodoúlla Papalambrianou have written and composed songs for Cyprus in several Eurovision Song Contests. Rodoúlla in 1993 (Mi Stamatas) and Andréas in 2013 (An Me Thimasai).
