Cláudia Pascoal lives in Gondomar, Portugual and music is a huge part of her life. She has played guitar since she was 15 years old and started out as a street artist.
In addition to singing, she presented a national talkshow for teenagers called CurtoCircuito and participated in TV shows such as Ídolos (the Portuguese version of American Idol) in 2015 and The Voice of Portugal in 2017 where she was one of the finalists.
Claudia has released a single with Pedro Gonçalves and is the lead singer of her band MORHUA. In 2018, she won the Portuguese national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and will represent Portugal with the song O Jardim. The entry was composed and produced by Isaura, who accompanies Cláudia on stage.
About the song writer and composer
Isaura made her debut in 2014 with Useless, a song that drew attention when it reached over a hundred thousand views on YouTube. Following this she released Change It, in partnership with the platform Tradiio.
In May 2015 Isaura released the EP Serendipity and the following year she performed on the stages of several festivals, including Rock in Rio – Lisbon, NOS Alive, Super Bock Super Rock, Bons Sons and MED. She was also nominated at the Portugal Festival Awards in the Revelation category.
Over the years Isaura has shared the stage with Francis Dale, performing at different venues across Portugal. She performed a duet, Meu é Teu, alongside Diogo Piçarra and was invited by the musician to perform with him several times since.
Isaura is in studio working on new songs which will be part of her debut album, Human, which will be released by Universal Music in April. In 2018 she has written, composed and produced the one which will represent Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest in May, O Jardim.
