Chingiz
Chingiz will represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest this year. He was born in Moscow and moved to Qazax in Azerbaijan, a city of just 20,000 people, when he was 6 years old. He learned to play the guitar and started composing his own songs while still a young boy.At the age of 13, Chingiz moved with his mother and his brother to Baku, where eventually he was invited to audition for the Azerbaijani version of Pop Idol. Chingiz won the competition thanks to tremendous support from the jury and viewers of the show. His victory turned him into a rising star in the Azerbaijani music industry and by 2013, he was already representing the country internationally at the New Wave festival in Jūrmala, Latvia. Three years later, he took part in The Voice Ukraine.
Chingiz loves the company of his dog, kung fu and yoga. He always enjoys getting a breath of fresh air while backpacking or doing outdoor meditation.
