Mr Lordi and Santa Claus (not pictured) attended a pop-up vaccination event in the city of Rovaniemi (Lapland, Finland) this week to help promote the availability of vaccination jabs as well as the local authority’s free rapid COVID-19 testing.
Mr Lordi said: They put a big needle in my arm, and that’s exactly why I came here. This was my second vaccine dose.
The Eurovision winner also revealed that he had lost count of the number of gigs the hard rockers have had to cancel due to the coronavirus, but also shared that time away from touring allowed the band to focus on new music: It’s given us an opportunity to be creative. We’ve recorded seven albums during the pandemic.
