Bosnia & Herzegovina is located in Southeastern Europe in between Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro. The country participated in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 1993 after placing second in the pre-contest qualification show, Kvalifikacija za Millstreet.Â
Bosnia & Herzegovina has held national finals as well as internal selections to determine its Eurovision entries over the years. The country scored its best placing in the Grand Final in 2006, third with Lejla performed by Hari Mata Hari. Since then the country has gone on to finish in the top ten on five other ocassions.
