Andorra made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004. One of the smallest countries in the competition, Andorra sits in the in the high mountains of the Pyrenees between France and Spain. The capital city is Andorra la Vella.

Andorra debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 alongside Albania, Belarus and Serbia and Montenegro. In the 2004 and 2005, Andorra selected their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest through an internal selection. From 2006 Andorran broadcaster RTVA held a large reality contest to select its entry for Eurovision Song Contest. 

In 2005 Marian van de Wal represented Andorra but is originally from The Netherlands. Jenny, who represented Andorra in 2006 was originally from Spain and Gisela, Andorra's 2008 participant previously entered Eurovision as a backing singer for Spain in 2002. 

As of 2018, Andorra is the only country to have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest but never qualified for the Grand Final. Andorra last participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009.
