The first semi-final of Destination Eurovision, the French national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2019, has taken place in Paris. The show saw four participants proceed to the final and the chance to represent France in Tel Aviv in May. After the international jury (50%) and the TV viewers (50%) cast their votes, it was clear that Bilal Hassani, Chimène Badi, Silvàn Areg and Aysat were the top four. Next Saturday the second (and last) semi-final will take place with the remaining nine acts battling for four other places in the final.
The first tickets for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel will go on sale at end of January, after the Allocation Draw. Israeli ticket company Leaan has been selected as the official ticketing partner. Further details will be announced at a later date.
